How much do GC's cost ??

GCP is the most effective way to participate in helping an orphan child as every family spends about $400 to $600 per month in groceries. So about $20 to $30 can go to HELP Foundation without strain on the part of the families.

What is Gift Certificate (GC) Program ?

American supermarkets in New Jersey area sell $100 Gift Certificates to non-profit organizations at 5% discount. You may purchase these Gift Certificates and redeem the same at the supermarket for $100 worth items of personal purchases.

In return for the Gift Certificates redeemed, the supermarkets actually pay HELP Foundation 5% of the total value of redeemed certificates.

How YOU could contribute to HELP

CHILD SPONSORSHIP : Give an orphaned child the comforting shield of your care. Sponsor a child!

UNITED WAY : You may also donate through payroll deductions by contributing through United Way. The mechanics for sign up process varies from company to company, and the start date and the duration of the United Way campaign also varies from company to company.

WALKATHON : You may also consider donating through our Annual Walk-A-Thon every September.

GIFT CERTIFICATES : Buy Super Market Gift Certificates from the Foundation and use them like cash. Super Market donates 5% of your purchase to the Foundation. You do not incur any money from your pocket. For details contact: Shantha Madhavan at 908-753-9391.

VOLUNTEER WITH US : You can donate your time for Foundation activities to maintain the database, arrange the walk-a-thon, help with the Gift Certificate program, maintain the website, and participate in telephone campaign for fund raising.
